I guess each to their own as far as a good album. Lamb lies Down on Broadway sure is not a snoozefest to me. It was a little hard to get into, but the songs have grown and grown on me in the last year, and is very exciting. This album is certainly comparable to other contenders, such as Elton John!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I listen to Lamb down, I hear Phish doing it, especially the drum parts!
I love the album on it's own, it just doesn't fit the profile. On first listen it's a bit of a stretch though - first timers might be bored. That's all I was trying to say.
